 Marbella Old Town Marbella is like Saint-Tropez in France: an old tipical village very “jet-set”, which has kept its charm despite the quick development of the tourism infrastructures. The charming streets of old Marbella, well decorated with flowers, let you forget the traffic jam, the buildings and the vibrante animation of the Costa del Sol.This old Arab district is full of narrow streets where it is a pleasure to be lost. The wellknown “Plaza de los Naranjos” is right in the Marbella old centre, it is like “La Place des Lices” in Saint-Tropez. What a pleasure to be at a coffee-terrace, under the shade of orange trees, lulled by the gurgling of a fountain from the XVI century! On your way, you can see the Church called “Nuestra Señora de la Encarnation”, the Museum of contemporary art, the Bonzai Museum or the Virgin on the balcony surrounded by bougainvillea. 2 kms from there you can visit the Marbella’s mosque and behind it you will find the residence of King Fahd (a replica of America’s White House)!
